Set design and construction as part of M-SET’s Mystery Island production at Phoenix School, London. Telling the story of a shipwreck landing on ‘Trash Island’, the emphasis was on creating a rich sensory environment, crucial to the learning and skill-building of the children with special educational needs (SENDs) taking part. Interactive elements of the set allowed participants to create their own shelters, shape characters and make music through the different stages of the performance.
